History and purpose of the organisation
On 23 January 2025, the three previous SPEDLOGSWISS sections – Eastern Switzerland, Schaffhausen and Zurich – merged to form the new joint section SPEDLOGSWISS Nordostschweiz. The aim of this merger was to combine forces in the region and represent the interests of freight forwarding and logistics companies even more effectively.
It supports the interests of around 80 member companies at regional level in economic, political and business matters. It develops and promotes a positive image of the freight forwarding industry in the public eye, ensures compliance with the code of conduct and promotes solidarity among its members.
SPEDLOGSWISS Nordostschweiz is committed to actively promoting young talent. It maintains a partnership-based relationship with its members, authorities, associations, schools and the media.
Basic commercial training is the first building block for a solid foundation and the first step towards climbing the career ladder in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
